OK, this may be for the more hardy souls but how about a wonderful winter picnic. Get the thermals on, get out the cozy blankets, bring that flask of hot chocolate, and a few festive nibbles. As you share a quiet moment, present a beautifully wrapped gift that contains the ring.

7. Xmas Holiday Movie Night
Who doesn’t like a Christmas movie. From Love Actually to Elf and all the corny hallmark movies you’ve got a huge choice. Set up a cozy movie night at home featuring your favourite festive films. An intimate and special way to propose.
Alternatively, you could surprise your partner with a special video montage of your memories together, culminating in the moment you ask them to marry you.
(by the way it’s probably best not to pick d Die Hard as your Christmas movie you could spend the entire evening arguing whether it’s a Christmas movie or not!)

🩷THE DAY THE WEDDING PHOTOS ARRIVE!🧡// I can’t tell you how excited I get when the official wedding photographs land. I have had the pleasure to work with some absolutely✨ amazing✨ wedding photographers this year. I have to share with you a glimpse of this gorgeous set of photos, taken by the amazing Angela, at M & J’s Milton Keynes wedding. We had an absolute ball. Not only were M & J totally lovely to work with, but they were surrounded by so much love in the form of their incredible family and friends. The ceremony itself centred around their love story and the importance they played in each other’s lives (it had been quite a long courtship!). There was an incredibly emotional contribution from M’s daughter, along with some very special input from far away friends and a wee dash of Scottish tradition with the drinking from the quaich. Add an epic entrance and a spot drama with the rings (it all adds to a memories!) and we kicked off the day in the upbeat, fun way that they wanted . Angela captured the energy and romance of the wedding day perfectly. It was so lovely to sit on a cold November day and reflect on the beautiful sunshine of their September wedding. 🌻CAN WE DANCE DURING OUR WEDDING? 🌻 // Hell yeh!!! This was quite a wedding. The groom had New Zealand heritage and they wanted to make sure that their friends and family from Australia and New Zealand were represented in their ceremony🇳🇿🇦🇺 I can’t tell you how much fun I had with this. As well a Haka (a really awesome sight) the guests were invited to shake their Poi. Yes - we can go traditional (I love tradition 💕) BUT there’s also lots of different ways we can also celebrate ‘you’ on the day. Not only was the setting stunning. but the brides creativity and the grooms organisation skills (along with the help from many friends) made it the most beautiful unique day. 🌻REGISTRAR & CELEBRANT ?🌻 // some people like to combine the ceremonies and have the registrar doing the legal section and then a Celebrant led the wedding celebration. This is perfectly possible although logistically this can sometimes be a bit awkward. It’s worth asking yourself if you want the stress of doing the two things on the same day. There is no necessity to register your marriage on the same day you have your wedding celebration. Either way, I’m happy to give you advice on the method of your choice. 💕BEST JOB IN THE WORLD💕 // I was in 2 minds about posting this as 1/ I have terrible bags under my eyes 🙈 and 2/ it’s a bit more reflective than I normally am on social media. I genuinely think I have the best job in the world & it is a privilege to be trusted with peoples stories and to get to know them as intimate as we do. Just to say not all couples want this. There are many versions of this story but I like this one. 🌻 Apollo & water nymph Clytie were in love but then he turned his affections towards another nymph.
